On Thursday or Friday October 24 I will make a presentation in support of Break The Silence Congo Week at the Cafe Amsterdam in downtown Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. The event will take place at 8:00 PM and will include images of war and plunder, and portraits of courage and dignity of teh Congolese people, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. This presentation will also address Mongolia's ties to war in Congo -- e.g., Mongolia supplied small numbers of "peacekeepers" to the MONUC mission, the cell phone industry is huge in Mongolia, and many mining companies and "humanitarian" corporations involved in plundering Congo are also involved in Mongolia.
