Event Description:
Join us, Friends of the Congo, as we celebrate the remarkable achievements of three local and international organizers and activists for the work they have done and continue to do in the pursuit of the liberation of all Congolese & African people.
Among our award recipients, we are most honored to host Dr. Denis Mukwege, an internationally renowned physician known for his work in repairing the physical and emotional damages of armed conflict in Congolese women. We are honored to formally recognize Dr. Mukwege's work at the ceremony and sincerely wish for you to join us in celebrating not only his work, but the many lives his work has touched and healed.
