Congo in Harlem, now entering its twelfth year, is a series of films, panel discussions, and special events that celebrate Congolese culture and raise awareness about the devastating crisis in Congo. Congo in Harlem aims to educate, entertain, inspire, and engage. Films and panel discussions are the centerpiece of the series, but there are also opportunities to experience and appreciate Congolese culture through artwork, music, performance and food. Each event encourages audience participation, and offers direct opportunities to take action and get involved.
